Carrot juice, along with beetroot, even our grandmothers and great-grandmother gave breast kiddies as the first and most valuable juices. The ancient Romans believed carrot snack, many people attributed this to the root vegetable cooking. Carrot is rich in many vitamins and minerals: E, S. C, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, sodium, etc., but most of the wealth of carrots - a high content of provitamin A (beta-carotene). The use of carrot juice helps to improve skin, hair, nail plate, strengthens bones and teeth; beneficial effect on eyesight, the immune system, helps cleansing the liver and improves digestion. Fresh carrot juice is drunk in its pure form, diluted with water or mixed with other juices. For better absorption of carrot juice it is better to combine with salad, mixed with vegetable oil, but can do without the fat. In large quantities carrot juice creates an undue burden on the liver, can cause headaches, irritability and nausea, so doctors do not recommend to use more than 400-500 grams of juice a day. To replenish vitamin the body would be sufficient supply from 0,5 to 1 cup per day. Carrot juice is not recommended to drink for stomach ulcers, with care it should be taken in gastritis and diabetes
