Hot Drink - Mulled wine

A perfect performance you can try on the Alpine slopes.  In France and Switzerland it is called "van sho”. Mulled wine recipe is simple, to the same improvisation and deviation from the classical version is always welcome.  What is the point?  Heat the wine (but in no case give it to boil) and put it on the taste of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg , sliced apples, oranges, lemon zest.  If the wine is dry, you can add sugar or honey .  Mulled wine to infuse for 15-20 minutes, and then you can drain and pour into glasses.  For the fortress would be good to add a little brandy or liqueur.  Serve the "burning wine" best in tall glass mugs with thick walls or ceramic cups.
Sometimes in the mulled wine is hot water.  But it must be added to the finished drink, and pour carefully around the edge - in any case not throw out all at once - it will spoil the taste.

Hot drink-Punch

An ancient hot drink of rum, wine, sugar (or honey ), fruit juice and spices.  The number of components punches clear indication of his name: in Sanskrit it means "five" (in the present Indian Punch includes local alcohol, lemon juice, sugar, water and spices).  However, when the British sailors at the end of the XVI century brought the recipe for the punch from the East Indies, restless Europeans began to add to it one more, though optional, ingredient - tea . In Europe, the punch has long been more popular than its main component - the Roma.  There is an explanation: the water softens the rum, and sugar and spices to hide the scent of bluff.  In England, a half-century beyond the magazine "Punch" - he named it in honor of the punch.
