Hot drink-Punch

An ancient hot drink of rum, wine, sugar (or honey ), fruit juice and spices.  The number of components punches clear indication of his name: in Sanskrit it means "five" (in the present Indian Punch includes local alcohol, lemon juice, sugar, water and spices).  However, when the British sailors at the end of the XVI century brought the recipe for the punch from the East Indies, restless Europeans began to add to it one more, though optional, ingredient - tea . In Europe, the punch has long been more popular than its main component - the Roma.  There is an explanation: the water softens the rum, and sugar and spices to hide the scent of bluff.  In England, a half-century beyond the magazine "Punch" - he named it in honor of the punch.
