Grapefruit diet

This time we present this diet of very low calorie level, has the advantage of being based on a fat-free fruit and low in sodium. 

On the other hand, grapefruit is high in vitamin C, lots of water and fiber, which allows the ingested there, is a feeling of satiety and inhibits hunger. 

Its drawbacks are that first does not provide the nutrients the body needs for a balanced diet, as calcium and iron, so that the body is unprotected against anemia, folic acid and heart disease. 

Precisely for these disadvantages and because it is monotonous the diet is recommended only for a week or possibly two. The weight loss ranging between twelve and twenty pounds. 

Breakfast: 
Media grapefruit accompanied by coffee or tea without cream or sugar. 

Lunch: 
Media grapefruit. 
2 eggs, tomato and cucumber salad, seasoned with vinegar or lemon and herbs to taste. 
1 slices of bread with coffee or tea without sugar or cream. 

Dinner: 
Media grapefruit. 
Half a head of lettuce seasoned with vinegar or lemon and herbs to taste. 
From 4 to 6 ounces of beef, chicken or ham.
