Drink of tamarind

Ingredients (for 5 persons) 
glass of fresh tamarind (Indian figs)
water, sugar to taste

Preparation:

Pour into pan 2 liters of water, add tamarind, put on fire and bring to a boil.
Then drain and cool.
Hand or with a squeeze of the tamarind juice, diluted in 5 cups of cold water and sweetened.
Serve with ice cubes. You can add the rosewater.
