Christmas drink


Glega 1 bottle of dry red wine, 2 cinnamon sticks, clove 2, 4 cardamom seeds, 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 cup of fresh almonds, brown sugar to taste

Pour a glass of wine in a saucepan; add the cinnamon, cloves and cardamom and cook covered over low heat for about an hour. Leave in the refrigerator overnight.

The remaining wine is heated to 60 degrees, pour in prepared extract and add raisins, almonds and brown sugar. Serve in glass mugs.


The taste in Glega can add a little port wine or rum. In the extract can put an orange or lemon zest, or just orange segments.
